- Newburgh x Lloyd George Seedling x Pyne’s Royal cross.
- Grows vigorously into moderately thick and broadly spreading bushes; develops strong medium long sprouts covered with numerous thorns, requires supports.
- Bears large and extremely large fruits which are light red at first and become darker while ripening, in shape they resemble a cone with a cut-off top, they are compact, sweet and tart in flavour, aromatic and tasty; can be enjoyed raw, good for preserves.
