- R. yakushimanum hybrid, bred by Hans Hachmann
- An average grower with a compact and flattened-ball-shaped habit, in 10 years becomes about 110 cm high and 140 cm across.
- Develops dark green elliptic leaves up to 13 cm long, covered with silvery tomentose hair when young.
- Displays dark pink buds which open to pink flowers, almost white in throats and delicately spotted in dark pink colouring on the upper petal, their petal rims are large, broadly flared and undulate (an individual flower becomes 6 to 8 cm across), held in the shrub-top trusses of as many as 14-17.
- Flowers at the end of May and at the beginning of June (21.05-10.06).
- Cold hardy down to -22°C.
