  • Russian variety.
  • Grows moderately into an elevated, columnar shrub.
  • Bears large berries (average weight 1.60g) which are [of average size,] regular, spindle-like in shape, violet-blue in hue with a strong waxy bloom; they are of good quality, rather hard with a strong skin; sweet and slightly tart but pleasant with a pinch of tart aftertaste in flavour, they have a dry stem scar.
  • From June 2014, in Muniakowice (on our farm) and in Siberia (in Bakczar), we conducted annual tests of the sugar content in the fruit of various varieties of Kamchatka berry. The maximum result obtained in these tests for this variety was 15.0°Bx (Brix).
  • According to observations carried out on our plantation in Muniakowice (Małopolska, Poland), the fruit ripening period falls, depending on the weather, on the second / third week of June.
  • A high yielding variety.
  • Easy to harvest, its fruits do not drop off, recommended for mechanical harvesting and transport tolerant.
