• Bred in Poland.
  • Grows slowly into a bush 160 cm high and 130 cm wide, develops moderately branched ball-shaped habit.
  • Bears characteristic elongated ball-shaped fruits which are tasty, sweet and juicy; rather transport tolerant; good for deep-freezing, drying and for juices.
  • Moderately early variety (its fruits ripen in the first half of June); begins flowering a few days before Wojtek; on plantations gives an abundant crop of up to 3.5 kg per bush (11.5 t/ha). Its fruits do not drop when ripe. Mechanical harvesting possible, but the shaking off amplitude should be increased since its fruits are held firmly on bushes. Can be harvested at one time.
  • Its fruits contain 16–18°Bx (in brix degrees) of sugar – tests for sugar content were conducted in the first half of June.
  • It is good to plant different varieties next to each other to enable cross-pollination, Wojtek seems to be its best pollinator.
