- A shrub growing up to 150 cm in height and width. Vigorous growth, with thornless shoots.
- Flowers in May/April. Large, orange flowers.
- This variety is self-pollinating.
- Edible, yellow, oblong, and rather uniform fruit. Average fruit weight is 30–51 g. The fruit is characterized by a relatively high vitamin C content and a high phenolic compound content.
- Ripens early, in early September. High-yielding.
- The shrubs are resistant to leaf spot and moderately resistant to fruit rot – various types of rot have been observed during wet periods.
- The shrubs have good winter hardiness, but flower buds on the upper part of the shoots (above the snow line) may be damaged by frost.
