Betula pendula
  • An extremely original, dwarf variety of birch, with thin shoots and strongly dissected leaves, it looks more like a palm maple.
  • The miniature tree grows slowly, after 10 years it reaches about 2 m in height.
  • The main shoots are brown, erect, and the side shoots hang slightly.
  • The leaves are unusual for the species: delicate, very deeply dissected, light green in spring, grey-green in summer, turning yellow in autumn. Openwork leaves give the plant a fluffy, decorative look.
  • Easy to grow, undemanding to the soil. Resistant to diseases.
  • An original and very interesting variety for small gardens. Suitable for planting in pots.
  • Licensed variety (CPVO no. 20051602).
