Red Jake
(TOMA series)

Hibiscus moscheutos
  • TOMA series, red flowers with a clearly distinguishable burgundy center, contrasting rays on the petals.
  • Green, healthy leaves, contrasting sharply with the flowers.
  • Rather narrow, columnar shape, reaches 140 cm in height.
  • Blooms abundantly for almost 3 months.
  • Requires a sunny, warm location and fertile, permeable, constantly moderately moist soil.
  • Frost resistance confirmed in the conditions of Southern Poland. It is recommended to cut the shoots to a height of a dozen or so centimetres above the ground before the winter period, then cover the plant with mulch, preferably sawdust or peat. Such a cover will protect the plants from water loss and protect against frost.
