- A beautiful, decorative tree. It grows to 10-15 m in height and 3-5 m in width.
- Rather narrow in shape, regular and elliptical crown, becoming slightly wider with age.
- Light green leaves, shiny on top, grey-green on the bottom, intensively turning red in autumn.
- Prefers moist, permeable soil, sunny position, may not turn so decorative in shade.
- Recommended for planting narrow streets and small gardens.
- Cold hardy.
