• Bred at Saskatchewan University.
  • Reaches the height of 2-2.5 m, boasts natural dwarf height (not grafted) which makes nurturing easier.
  • Develops shiny green leaves which are oval to egg-shaped, narrow at base, with sharpened toothed margins which give it an ornamental look.
  • Flowers profusely in spring, displays self-pollinating white and pink flowers; remains in bloom from mid-May to the end of May.
  • Yields big fruit with small stones (about 4 g), which is purple red in colour and extremely juicy, sweet and sour in taste (BRIX 14%), and contains proper acid to sugar proportion which decides about its rich taste; cherry juice is light red in colour, sour cherries are recommended for consumption, juices, wines and freezing.
  • Its fruit ripens from mid-July to mid-August, one tree yields a crop of 4-8 kg.
