• New blueberry with exceptional fruit, introduced to cultivation in 1994.
  • Its vigorously growing shrubs are of erect habit, well branched and grow up to 1.5 m high.
  • Gives exceptionally big berries, the biggest ones among the highbush blueberry cultivars, usually over 2 cm across and heavier than 2 g; often yields fruits above 2.5 cm across; they are blue, tasty and firm with a small pedicel scar.
  • ‘Chandler’ gives high and regular yield; its ripening is prolonged to 4-6 weeks, which improves the attractiveness of this cultivar.
  • After several years of observation in Poland, ‘Chandler’ can be recommended for plantations, it is one of the most wanted cultivars, especially for small family plantations harvested manually.
