- A variety selected in Doorenbos in 1956. One of the most valuable varieties of useful birch, cultivated for its exceptionally decorative, snow-white bark.
- The tree forms a spherical, openwork crown, grows up to 10 m high and 7 m in diameter.
- The bark on the youngest shoots is olive-brown, on the older ones it takes on a pale orange shade, then turns white.
- The leaves are green, heart-shaped, 5-8 cm long, shiny. In autumn they turn golden yellow.
- An easy-to-grow tree, undemanding in terms of soil.
- It grows well in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
- It is perfect for planting alone, as a solitaire and in groups.
