- Evergreen half-shrub which grows 0.4 m high and 0.5 m wide.
- Develops fragrant, gray blue inflorescences in ears.
- Blooms from June to July.
- Prefers sunny, sheltered and warm positions, and fertile soils with a great content of calcium.
- Needs to be covered for winter.
