- A small semi-evergreen shrub.
- Compact, with a naturally spherical shape, it spreads well. It grows up to 1 m tall.
- Abelia grandiflora variety with variegated, decorative leaves. The leaves are small, glossy, oval, and golden-variegated.
- It blooms very early, producing clusters of pink-and-white, bell-shaped flowers. It blooms at the turn of May and June. It blooms about three weeks earlier than most other varieties. It blooms until October.
- In Poland, the plant is sensitive to frost and requires covering with a vine in winter. It can be grown in containers and stored away for the winter.
