- This variety was developed by Maxine M. Thompson in Corvallis, Oregon.

- The bush is wide, vigorous, and spreading. After 5 years of cultivation, it reaches 1.1 m in height and 1.7 m in width.
- The fruit is large (2.3 cm long and 1.5 cm wide), with an average weight of 2.2 g. Attractive, elliptical, firm, with a sweet-sour flavor, and a BRIX value of 15.2° (breeder’s data). The stem scar is dry. Dark navy blue, covered with a waxy layer.
- Harvest: May 27 – June 5 (breeder’s data – Oregon). The fruit ripens in approximately 60 days from full flowering. The fruit does not shed – mechanical harvesting is possible. Berries retain their appearance, firmness, and flavor for at least 2 weeks in cold storage at temperatures between 0°C and 1°C.
- Early variety. Universal use.
- Yields up to 3 kg from a five-year-old plant (breeder’s data).
- Frost-hardy – at least USDA zone 3.
