- Evergreen, compact and bushy half-shrub which grows up to 0.6 m high and 0.6 m wide.
- Develops aromatic, elongated gray green leaves.
- Displays fragrant, small blue flowers gathered in dense inflorescences.
- Prefers sheltered and warm positions, does well in rich calcareous soils.
