- Bred and named by Dr Karl-Heinz Hübbers, a German breeder from Kranenburg.
- A male variety.
- An evergreen and ornamental plant throughout the whole season.
- Develops an elevated, compact habit.
- Boasts astonishingly soft, not prickly leaves which are shiny and dark green with a visible light green vein.
- Prefers half-shaded or shaded positions, protected against the wind.
- Dioecious – to achieve abundant crops it is recommended to grow one male cultivar between several female plants.
- Its cut branches are used in different types of ornamental arrangements.
