- A considerably old cultivar, bred in the USA at the end of the 1940s.
- Boasts an irregular wide-spreading habit, grows up to 2.5 m high.
- Displays single petal flowers, yellow green in buds and cream yellow in full bloom held in upright dense and fragrant panicles. Blooms at the end of April and the beginning of May for 3-4 weeks.
- Suitable for most types of soil.
- Totally cold hardy.
