- An evergreen climber with striking foliage. It grows from 5 m to 10 m tall.
- The leaves are large, streaked with yellow-white, light green, and dark green. The brightest yellow leaf segments are located in the center of the leaf blade.
- Suitable for partial shade and shade, in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil, but it also grows well even in poor soil. It tolerates periodic water shortages.
- It secures itself to a support with adventitious roots, climbing well up walls. Recommended for growing on tree trunks, fences, and building walls. It can also be grown as a groundcover.
- In Polish climates, it can freeze and requires a warm, sheltered location.
