- A spreading shrub with a compact habit.
- After 10 years, it grows to about 1.4 m in height and 1.6 m in width.
- Dark green, evergreen leaves.
- Flowers are pure red, not fading in the sun, with a delicate pattern on the upper petal and with a slight wave on the edges of the petals. Flowers are large, from 8.5 to 9.5 cm in diameter, gathered in 15 to 17 pieces in spectacular, also very large (17 cm high and 19 cm wide), apical inflorescences.
- It blooms very early at the end of April to the first ten days of May.
- Requires semi-shaded positions and acidic, humus and moderately moist soils.
- The variety is recommended for planting in warmer regions of the country, in sheltered positions and under winter cover.
- Frost resistance up to -20°C.
