  • A dwarf, evergreen shrub with a rather loose habit. It grows to approximately 40-50 cm in height.
  • The leaves are vibrant green, ovate, and partially deciduous in winter.
  • The flowers are pink with a darker, magenta-colored speckled pattern on the upper petal. It blooms profusely at the turn of May and June.
  • It looks impressive planted both singly and in groups, along with other ericaceous plants.
  • It prefers acidic, well-drained soil (pH 3.5-4.5). It thrives in full sun and can also grow in partial shade.
  • It is frost-hardy, although it is recommended to cover it in winter in open locations exposed to strong winds.
