• A small shrub with a hemispherical shape. After 10 years, it grows to 0.4 m tall and 0.8 m wide.
  • The leaves are dark green, glossy on top.
  • The flowers are semi-double, carmine-pink with a darker red center, 4 cm in diameter, and are clustered in clusters of 3-4 in terminal inflorescences. It blooms profusely in late May.
  • It prefers humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and sunny or partially shaded locations.
  • Recommended for single or group plantings in home and Japanese gardens, along with other azaleas and dwarf rhododendrons.
  • This variety is not completely frost-hardy, so planting in sheltered locations and sheltered from winter winds is recommended, as well as covering in winter.
