- Evergreen shrub with decorative young growths and inflorescences.
- After 10 years of cultivation, the bush reaches 1.2 m in height and about 80 cm in width.
- Leathery, glossy leaves, dark green on top, decorative throughout the year.
- Decorative plant with young growths that are olive-red in color.
- Flowers appearing in spring (in April), are light pink, collected in paniculate, hanging inflorescences. As the flowers fade, they become brighter, whiter, but the edges of the petals remain pink.
- It grows best in a sheltered, sunny or semi-shaded position.
- It prefers humus, acidic and moderately moist soils.
- In Polish climatic conditions, it is not completely frost-resistant. It is recommended for planting in warmer regions of the country.
