- Grown by Lemoine, 1924.
- Grows up to 2-3 m high.
- Heart-shaped leaves, dark green.
- Displays delicately fragrant double petal mauve flowers gathered in very big panicles, flowers at the end of May and the beginning of June.
- Undemanding towards soil conditions.
- Requires sunny or partially shaded positions.
- Cold hardy.
