• Cultivar bred by dr. K.-H. Hübbers. Controlled cross in 1995, name of the parents got lost, registered in 2002.
  • A vigorous grower with a compact erect growth, grows up to 120 cm high in 10 years.
  • The first kalmia variety with flowers up to almost 4 cm across when 6 lobed, distinctly bigger than in earlier kalmia cultivars. Pink flower buds open to white flowers with a pink coating, a ring of dark red blotches and dots visible in throat, especially increased in number on the anther pouches, a distinct pink edging above the ovary, the receptacle green in hue.
  • Totally cold hardy as all kalmias.
