- Bred by Hans Hachmann, Germany, 1987.
- Grows into a wide spreading but compact and dense shrub, in 10 years becomes up to 100 cm high and 130 cm across.
- In autumn its leaves turn red in hue.
- Displays large flowers (6.5-7.5 cm across), purely yellow with a distinctly vivid blotch on the upper petal, held in delicately fragrant and effectively looking trusses of as many as 7-9; blooms profusely.
- Flowers towards the end of May.
- Totally cold hardy.
