- An early variety.
- Grows into an erect habit bush developing stiff branches; does not require hard pruning, reaches up to 2.1 m high and 1.8 m across.
- Its berries are of medium size (weigh above 2.0 g), they are light blue in hue and extremely sweet and firm.
- They do not crack due to excessive water uptake during extreme rainfall events.
- Gives an abundant crop.
- Transport tolerant.
- Ripens about 10–14 days after ‘O’Neal’ or ‘Star’; it also blooms later which helps it avoid early spring frost.
- Manual harvesting recommended for the fresh fruits market early in the season; however, mechanical harvesting possible due to the fact that its berries are hard and firm.
- In dormancy, requires at least 500–550 hours in temperatures below 7°C to give proper crops in the coming crop year.
- USDA cold hardiness – zones 6a to 9a.
