- Bred by Elias Howes in 1843.
- Vigorous grower which develops long thick creeping sprouts.
- Displays big dark green leaves.
- Bears average size berries – 1.8 cm long and 1.6 cm across – with a glossy red skin and firm pulp; its stems are delicate and short which makes harvesting easier.
- Its fruits ripen in October and keep well, gives high crop.
