  • Grows up to about 1.0-1.5 m high and 1.0-1.3 m across.
  • Boasts strongly serrated leaves which in autumn turn red.
  • Displays extremely attractive, large, panicle-like purely white inflorescences which develop from early summer until the first autumnal frosts (July-September); they are attractively displayed against a background of red foliage.
  • Blooms profusely.
  • Prefers rich, fertile, acidic and moist soils.
  • Thrives best in half-shaded positions, protected against cold winds but also tolerates sunny positions.
  • Boasts extremely good cold hardiness but it is recommended to cover its root base with a bedding mound.
