- Bred by Tara Bivin (USA).
- It grows up to 125 cm in height and a similar width.
- Thick, dark green leaves are a beautiful background for inflorescences. In autumn, they shimmer with a wide range of shades of brown and red, beautifully harmonizing with bright inflorescences.
- It is distinguished by white, dense flower panicles. The flowers are so tightly packed that the inflorescence gives the appearance of a “spongy” texture.
- The flowers appear from late summer to fall.
- It tolerates both full sun and partial shade.
- It is more drought tolerant than Hydrangea macrophylla.
- Prefers fertile, moist and well-drained soil.
- It is cold hardy down to -25ºC.
