  • Bred by Tara Bivin (USA).
  • It grows up to 125 cm in height and a similar width.
  • Thick, dark green leaves are a beautiful background for inflorescences. In autumn, they shimmer with a wide range of shades of brown and red, beautifully harmonizing with bright inflorescences.
  • It is distinguished by white, dense flower panicles. The flowers are so tightly packed that the inflorescence gives the appearance of a “spongy” texture.
  • The flowers appear from late summer to fall.
  • It tolerates both full sun and partial shade.
  • It is more drought tolerant than Hydrangea macrophylla.
  • Prefers fertile, moist and well-drained soil.
  • It is cold hardy down to -25ºC.
