• Bred by the Slocock Nurseries in 1974.
  • Grows into an evergreen bush and in 10 years becomes approximately 2 m high.
  • Develops dark-green broadly elliptical leaves, typical of the species.
  • Displays extremely attractive, ornamental pink flowers, which are darker when in buds, with a characteristic white fringe; in full bloom, they turn light pink and are beautifully adorned with a white rim on their petal edges; flowers at the end of May and at the beginning of June.
  • Cold hardy down to -18°C.
