- Grown by dr. K.-H. Hübbers, a German horticulturist, ‘Nova Zembla’ and ‘Rubicon’ hybrid, 1993, registered in 2008.
- Boasts a spherical habit, in 10 years grows up to 100 cm in height.
- Develops leaves up to 12 cm long and 4 cm across.
- Displays funnel-shaped extremely dark red flowers which look black red from a distance, up to 6 cm across and 5 cm long. Its flower buds are extremely dark, probably the darkest of the known dark red flower varieties, trusses can hold even as many as 15.
