Hibiscus moscheutos
  • TOMA series.
  • Leaves and stems are a deep green, strongly contrasting with the color of the flowers.
  • Reaches a height of 120–150 cm.
  • Flowers are a vibrant pink-red, with petal bases in an intense red that clearly contrasts with the rest of the petals.
  • Requires a sunny, warm location and fertile, permeable, constantly moderately moist soil
  • Frost resistance confirmed in the conditions of Southern Poland. It is recommended to cut the shoots to a height of a dozen or so centimetres above the ground before the winter period, then cover the plant with mulch, preferably sawdust or peat. Such a cover will protect the plants from water loss and protect against frost.
