- Bred and named by Dr. K.-H. Hübbers; hybridized in 2005 and registered in 2013; Mitternachtt and Kaleidoscope cross.
- In 10 years grows up to 100 cm high and 80 cm wide.
- Develops broad and compact habit.
- Boasts matt green broadly elliptical leaves 7.3 cm by 4.0 cm.
- Displays cup-like, red-pink flowers which are darker in throats with a light pink margin on their rims, held in trusses of as many as 60; they reach 2.5 cm across and in buds are light pink and darker on their tops.
- Totally cold hardy as all kalmias.
