- Early variety, selected in Canada from ‘Thiessen’ due to a greater size of its fruits.
- Grows into a bush 3 m high and 2 m wide, develops round habit.
- Bears fruits which boast excellent taste and ripen early; its berries are about 1.43 cm wide on average and when ripe become purple black, and are covered with a waxy bloom which makes them look dark blue.
- Gives moderately abundant crop at the beginning of summer.
- Can be planted in all positions, but prefers sunny or half-shaded places.
- Attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.
- Suitable for zone 3 USDA.
