• Introduced to cultivation in the USA, 1988.
  • Develops thickening shrubs with erect habit which grow up to 1.3-1.6 m high.
  • Gives big, aromatic and tasty fruits, gathered in sparse clusters (resembling the fruit of ‘Spartan’); ripe berries remain long on shrubs – they do not drop off; manual harvesting recommended.
  • Endures transport well; its berries begin to ripen in August and its ripening period lasts about 3 weeks; a 6 kg crop per shrub was recorded in the USA.
  • Extremely worth propagating due to its late time of ripening, cold hardiness and good quality fruit.
  • Cold hardiness -34°C (USDA zone 4).
