- Not long ago a new, promising cultivar; nowadays permanently among the most sought after highbush blueberries.
- Its shrubs grow up to 1.2-1.8 m high and boast upright habit.
- Gives very big, flattened, aromatic berries which are very tasty and have strong skin and a small and dry pedicel scar; they are pale blue, with lighter streaks; its first crop should be picked up manually, the remaining part of the crop can be harvested mechanically; its berries are slightly smaller but still bigger than those of ‘Bluecrop’.
- Its fruits begin ripening towards the end of July and yield 4.5-9.0 kg per shrub; due to its high yield and the possibility of worsening the quality of the crop, it needs pruning and even thinning out its berries; a sufficient water supply is needed during the growth and ripening of its fruits to make them reach their full size.
- Tolerant of more humid soils and cooler positions with a shorter vegetation season; however, grows better in sunny and warm positions, where it gives better quality higher crops.
- Good for growing on plantations and by amateurs.
- Regarded as resistant to Phytophthora cinnamomi.
- Cold hardiness -40°C (USDA zone 3).
