- Bred by the University of Minnesota, 1994, originated from Rhododendron x atlanticum.
- Its shrub wide-stretching in habit with dense sprouts, grows up to 90 cm high.
- Boasts dark green leaves with small brown shading.
- Displays fragrant flowers in cream white colouring with a bright yellow blotch on the upper petal, funnel-like and cylindrical in shape, held in ball-shaped trusses of as many as 7-10.
- Cold hardiness -32°C (according to American data).
