  • An early variety.
  • Develops narrow, elevated habit with a few main branches; grows up to 1.3 m high and 1.0 m across.
  • Produces high quality berries – 20 mm in diameter on average; they are firm, blue violet in hue, covered with a waxy coating and can be stored for long after harvesting.
  • A high percentage of its berries are large in diameter and are excellent for the premium fresh fruits market.
  • Ripens approximately 2–3 days after O’Neal and 3–7 days earlier than the New Hannover berries.
  • Gives abundant and regular crops.
  • In dormancy, requires at least 600–700 hours in temperatures below 7°C to give a good yield in the coming crop year.
