• A low, evergreen, woody shrub with spreading stems. It reaches up to 15-20 cm in height, but spreads widely laterally.
  • It produces two types of stems: summer (barren) stems, which are long and easily rooted, and flowering stems (rising approximately 15 cm). This allows the plants to spread quickly and densely cover the ground.
  • The leaves are variegated, evergreen, ovoid, and arranged oppositely on the stems. Ornamental – dark green with a characteristic thin, irregular, white margin.
  • Single, light blue flowers, up to 3 cm in diameter, emerge on long stalks from the axils of the upper leaves. Blooms profusely in April and May.
  • It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, and fresh soil, but is not demanding in terms of soil type. Partial shade or shade is recommended. In full sun, the leaves may be susceptible to damage, especially in snowless winters.
  • The plant’s advantages include drought tolerance, full frost hardiness, and vigorous growth.
