• An evergreen, dense, and creeping shrub.
  • Stems lying on the ground take root, completely covering the soil. Recommended as a groundcover in gardens. Flowering stems are slightly erect.
  • Leaves are small, dark green, and leathery.
  • Flowers are purple-blue. Blooms profusely in April-May.
  • Grows well in fertile, sufficiently moist soil. Partial shade to full shade, or full sun if the soil is sufficiently moist.
  • Frost-hardy.
