- A patented cultivar, belongs to the Blue Treasure group.
- A vigorously growing, well branching shrub with a dome-like shape, becomes 150 cm high and 150 cm across.
- Yields large, sweet and aromatic berries about 2 cm long which are elliptic, sometimes almost spherical, in shape and rounded at their edges; they leave a dry stem scar, good for mechanical harvesting.
- On our farm in Muniakowice, we conduct annual tests of the sugar content in the fruit of various varieties of Kamchatka berry. The maximum result obtained in these tests for this variety was 15.0°Bx (Brix).
- A moderately late cultivar. According to observations carried out on our plantation in Muniakowice (Małopolska, Poland), the fruit ripening period falls, depending on the weather, on the first / third week of July.
- An individual shrub yields 3.6 kg (max 4.5 kg) of fruits; it gives an average yield of 11.8 t/ha (max 14.8 t/ha).
- It is advisable to grow several different varieties one next to another to enable cross-pollination; Blue Treasure and Giant’s Heart are especially recommended.
- We hold a license to propagate this variety, granted by the North American Honeyberry Corporation.
