- A promising cultivar, grown in the USA, 1987, ‘Earliblue’ x ‘Ivanhoe’ cross.
- A vigorous grower with an erect habit, grows up to 2 m high.
- Self-fertile cultivar but he use of pollinators is recommended.
- Produces big, smooth, blue berries with a small pedicel scar. Good for direct consumption and processing. Fruits gathered in big clusters are easy for picking.
- Ripens in a considerably short period of time. Harvesting possible in two periods. Maintains good quality during the whole harvesting time. Gives constant and high yield. Due to its high quality fruit and similar time of ripening it replaces ‘Bluecrop’ in some areas of the USA, especially on the dessert fruit market.
