- Develops upright growth habit; after 10 years grows up to 100 cm high and 120 cm wide.
- Displays yellow star-shaped flowers with sweet and subtle fragrance which grow up to 5-7 cm across and are held in as many as 8-15 in trusses; its inflorescences are 9-11 cm wide; blooms from mid-May till the beginning of June.
- Cold hardy (down to approximately -24°C).
