  • Compact shrub.
  • It grows very slowly, reaches a maximum of 3 m in height, but in the Polish climate it usually reaches about 1.5 m in height.
  • A very attractive evergreen shrub.
  • Lanceolate, shiny green leaves. Young growths intensely red – they are extremely decorative.
  • In spring, the bush is decorated with white flowers gathered in drooping panicles.
  • It prefers an acidic substrate rich in nutrients.
  • It grows best in positions sheltered from the wind, sunny, but it will grow equally well in partial shade.
  • It is cold hardy, but it is worth covering it during severe winters.
