• A Slovak white currant variety bred at the Horticulture Institute in Bojnice; Heinemans Rote Spatlese and Red Lake cross, launched in 1977; in Poland a considerably new cultivar.
  • Grows up to 1.0-1.5 m high.
  • Produces large even berries gathered in clusters containing several dozen fruits (25-40 on average); its clusters are long, compact and easy to pick; its berries are yellowish white with visible veins and seeds showing through the skin; tasty, slightly tart with  sweet flavour; its fruits ripen evenly in mid-July; good for processing – can be mixed with other fruits when making preserves, can be enjoyed raw, also good for dried fruits.
  • Recommended for home gardens and growing in rows.
  • High-yielding, commences fruit bearing early and gives abundant crops every year.
  • Prefers sunny or half-shaded positions, medium wet, sandy or clayey soils, rather fertile with a slightly acidic pH.
  • Totally cold hardy, resistant to foliar anthracnosis; in favourable summers can be affected by powdery mildew.
