- A dwarf variety. A low, compact, semi-evergreen shrub.
- After 10 years, it grows to 0.4 m (1.6 ft) tall and 0.5 m (1.6 ft) wide.
- The leaves are light green, oval, and matte, evergreen.
- The flowers are pure white, double, and broadly funnel-shaped, approximately 5 cm (2 in) in diameter. In spring, they appear in large numbers at the ends of the shoots. A single flower consists of approximately 20 petals. The flowers are clustered in clusters of several.
- It blooms profusely and for a long time, from late May to mid-June.
- Requires a sunny or partially shaded location. It prefers moderately moist, humus-rich, acidic soil.
- Recommended for planting in Japanese gardens and rock gardens, along with other dwarf heather shrubs.
- This variety is quite frost-hardy, but may require shelter in harsher winters. It is advisable to plant shrubs in quiet places and sheltered from winter winds.
