- An evergreen shrub growing to 0.9-1.2 m tall.
- Its habit is compact and spreading.
- The lush, light green leaves contrast beautifully with the flowers.
- The funnel-shaped flowers, 7.5 cm wide, are white with a pale greenish-yellow pattern. They are gathered in inflorescences of 3-4 flowers. It blooms in May.
- It is most often planted in home gardens, but also in parks, rock gardens, and heathlands.
- It prefers acidic, well-drained soil (pH 3.5-4.5) and a sunny or partially shaded location.
- This variety is frost-hardy, but it is advisable to plant it in a location sheltered from winter winds.
