- Semi-double, pink flowers, very attractive, with faint, hose-in-hose petals (stamens have evolved into additional petals in the corolla).
- They are clustered at the tips of the shoots.
- Prefers partial shade and acidic, slightly moist soil.
- Perfect for small home gardens, rock gardens, heathlands, and Japanese gardens.
- This variety is quite frost-hardy. It is recommended to plant the shrubs in sheltered locations, sheltered from winter winds.
