  • Produces fruits on biennial canes.
  • A vigorous grower, recommended for the V-system cultivation; develops thorny canes, its young sprouts have similar pace of growth.
  • Bears dark red fruits which are shiny, small (they weigh 2.0-5.0 g on average), tasty with intense aroma, and firm and cone-like in shape; after harvesting, they slightly get softer and darker but are long-lasting in trade and transport; good for mechanical harvesting, excellent for making juices, jams and jellies.
  • Its fruits ripen moderately early; gives good crops (3-4 kg/linear metre on average); its harvesting season lasts about 4 weeks.
  • Moderately susceptible to cane diseases, in winter when frostbitten susceptible to diseases but resistant to root diseases and slightly prone to grey mould, not susceptible to virus diseases.
  • Moderately cold hardy.
