Raspberry

Rubus idaeus

Raspberries (Rubus idaeus L.) have been extremely popular for a long time. They are not only full of flavour but also extremely wholesome. They are a source of many vitamins (vitamins C, E, B1, B2 and B6 among others) and minerals, such as potassium, iron, magnesium or calcium. They are often used in natural medicine due to their therapeutic properties. Raspberries do not cause problems in cultivation and at a proper selection of their varieties one can relish the taste of their fresh fruits from summer to the first ground frost.
